The Boulder Valley Womens Health Center was founded in 1973 as a local clinic for the women of Boulder and Broomfield counties. They were the first abortion clinic in the state.
Reproductive Equality Fund of the Boulder Valley Womens Health Center's Community
Last year, the Reproductive Equality Fund helped 153 women who otherwise could not have paid for their abortions.
The fund is part of the Boulder Valley Womens Health Center, which offers low-cost medical care to uninsured women and men as well as a free clinic for teens, and holds health educational events throughout the year at local public libraries and parks, farmers markets, community centers, schools, and mobile home communities.
