About Stigma Relief Fund – VA
The staff of Whole Woman’s Heath created the Bush Relief Fund in December 2003 in response to their frustration with restrictions on abortion access. In 2008, Whole Woman’s Health voted to change the fund’s name to the Stigma Relief Fund in order to reflect their dedication to eliminating stigma surrounding abortion. The goal of the non-profit Stigma Relief Fund is to financially support women seeking the health care they need and to protect women’s access to reproductive health services, including abortion.
