Today, award-winning singer-songwriter Demi Lovato announced her new single “SWINE,” available now on streaming services.

With the announcement of “SWINE,” Demi will be making a $5,000 donation to the National Network of Abortion Funds, as well as donating a portion of the proceeds from the single to the organization. The new track and contribution come as we mark one year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, drastically worsening the nationwide abortion access crisis that continues to play out.

It’s been one year since the Supreme Court’s decision to dismantle the constitutional right to a safe abortion, and although the path forward will be challenging, we must continue to be united in our fight for Reproductive Justice,”

“I created ‘SWINE’ to amplify the voices of those who advocate for choice and bodily autonomy,” Lovato continued. “I want this song to empower not only the birthing people of this country, but everyone who stands up for equality, to embrace their agency and fight for a world where every person’s right to make decisions about their own body is honored.”

“The National Network of Abortion Funds and our nearly 100 member funds are thrilled to have the support of Demi Lovato as she releases their new single “SWINE” this week. Demi is a bold voice unabashedly supporting abortion funding, and we need all of us to do the same, especially during this time when abortion funds are fielding more calls and supporting more people than ever before,” said Oriaku Njoku, executive director of the National Network of Abortion Funds. “Abortion funds need all of our collective support to strengthen and sustain their power as they navigate the rapidly shrinking landscape of abortion access.”
