Movement Building Programs
These programs build power with individual supporters, member abortion funds, and movement partners.
This program offers political education and resources that teach individual members how to organize with local abortion funds.
This campaign seeks to create cultural change with thoughtful conversations about abortions and abortion justice. Learn how dialogue can reduce stigma.
This leadership program is open to member funds, individual members, and abortion seekers in the NNAF network. Using its webinars, intensive training, and coaching, folks learn to be leaders in their lives and the abortion justice movement.
The Organizing Institute is a skill-building course for NNAF’s individual members. The program teaches grassroots organizing, fundraising, and leadership skills.
This program is offered in rotation with other movement building programs and individual members will be notified when applications are open for upcoming cohorts.
In NBML-WG, abortion fund members help NNAF shape the network’s movement-building framework and strategies. Fund members in this program also grow their own leadership, organizing, and collaboration skills.

Technical Assistance
The Technical Assistance (T.A.) Team helps member abortion funds with daily responsibilities. This assistance allows member funds to focus on supporting abortion seekers.
Grantmaking
Changing laws mean new difficulties for abortion funds. NNAF grantmaking programs help provide member abortion funds with the money they need to do their work.
Network Weaving
NNAF offers events and resource access to help strengthen the bonds between member abortion funds.
To help funds collaborate and strategize, NNAF hosts in-person network-wide summits and smaller gatherings focusing on regions or specific needs.
Member funds are invited to join the NNAF Slack workspace. This tool for digital collaboration helps funds communicate and collaborate. It also allows funds to receive regular and urgent updates from NNAF.
NNAF maintains the digital resources in this library specifically for member abortion funds. Topics are extensive, ranging from cyber security and financial management to managing burnout.
Collective Fundraising
NNAF hosts three annual fundraising events.
Fund-a-Thon
Fund-a-Thon is a yearly fundraising season. Individual abortion funds host in-person, virtual, and hybrid events every spring to raise funds and support abortion. Raise money every spring!

Eat tacos, drink bevs, fund abortion. The Taco or Bev Challenge is a simple way to raise money for abortion funds. Bonus: It’s fun and easy to get involved! Take the challenge!

NNAF wants tax dollars to fund abortion. Until the government listens, consider donating part of your refund to an abortion fund. Celebrate Tax Day with NNAF.
Take Back Tax Day!Coalitions & Campaigns
NNAF is a proud member of several coalitions and campaigns.
In the Liberate Abortion Campaign, more than 150 Reproductive Justice and rights organizations, groups, and abortion providers work together to make abortion available, affordable, accessible, and stigma-free for anyone who needs it.
The National Network of Abortion Funds, the Abortion Care Network, Noise for Now, and Seeding Sovereignty joined to create Abortion Within Reach.
This campaign demands abortion be accessible, compassionate, affirming for all identities, safe for everyone who needs it, free of politically-motivated barriers, and without cost as a barrier to care.
