Who We Can Help
We provide direct funding to folks who either reside Northeast or are going to a clinic located in North East (which we define as Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont). If you live in a state/region that has an abortion fund, you should reach out to them first – they will be the best equipped to help you.
We also offer practical support options, including: lodging assistance, transportation assistance, remote abortion doula support, and food support to ensure you have what you need during and after your appointment.
How to Get Help
Se habla español. Visite nuestra pagina web para instrucciones.
Step One: Make an appointment for your procedure. For local callers, here is a list of area clinics which can help you. This list does not include any pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, which often try to convince you to choose other alternatives and may not present your options fully or accurately.
Step Two: Your clinic will help you find out how far along your pregnancy is. They will ask you the first day of your last menstrual period and may ask you to come in for a pregnancy test before scheduling your procedure.
Step Three: For financial help or practical support, you can call or text our warmline at 413-582-3632. Please share your name, phone number, state you’re calling from, and appointment information. All calls and texts are confidential, and we will return your message within 24 hours. If you are interested in any of our practical support offerings our volunteer team will get you connected with the referrals you need.
If you are under the age of 16 and seeking abortion care in Massachusetts, you will need parental permission or a judicial bypass (permission from a judge). Your clinic can help you decide what’s best for your situation and will provide more information.
We will work with you regardless of your citizenship or immigration status.

Abortion Rights Fund of Western Massachusetts's Community
ARFWM is proud to partner with other funds, Massachusetts based and beyond, to support our callers in getting the care they need. We also house the Doula Association for Reproductive Loss and Abortion (DARLA) program which trains abortion doulas to support their communities.
We provide block granting when available to local provider partners, such as telehealth abortion providers and local trans healthcare providers.
