About Access Reproductive Care – Southeast
Our organization came about as a response to the fact that the financial needs of Southerners we saw while working in abortion clinics in Atlanta were not being fully met. We saw that we needed to do our part to try make the experience as worry-free as possible by providing additional funding for abortion care services. We are an abortion fund and are so honored to be making strides towards eliminating financial barriers to abortion access by supporting access to reproductive healthcare. Likewise, we saw that there was an opportunity to build power and meaningful relationships with Southerners in our communities by empowering them with funding, information, and resource to make the best decisions for themselves and their families.
Access Reproductive Care – Southeast's Community
ARC – Southeast strives to eliminate the economic barriers limiting ones access to reproductive care by providing financial assistance to those who meet the organizational guidelines for funding; initiate and encourage community involvement in the dialogue for reproductive justice in the South by facilitating intersectional exchange of ideas among communities; advance equal rights in reproductive decision-making through public advocacy; increase physical access to health care professionals and reproductive care by maintaining positive relationships with other funds and reproductive justice organizations in the South.
