If you need help paying for an abortion in Broward County, the Broward Women’s Emergency Fund may be able to help you. First, make your appointment at one of the following clinics:

When you call for your appointment, let the clinic know you would like help with funding, and they will contact Broward Women’s Emergency Fund. If the Fund currently has money, they may help with a partial payment.

The Broward Women’s Emergency Fund (BWEF) was founded by a group of local women who are self-described “diehard feminists” who truly believe that everyone deserve the right to a healthy future.
Broward Women’s Emergency Fund Inc.'s Community
In addition to its work funding abortion care, BWEF takes part in local, state, and national advocacy efforts promoting women’s reproductive health, and works actively with other Funds both in Florida and nationally to help ensure that everyone can get the health care they need.who could not afford to pay for an abortion to get care in Florida or out of state. Last year, BWEF helped 835 people in Broward County who could not afford to pay for an abortion to get care in Florida or out of state.
