We work with folks facing barriers to accessing abortion care, including both Montanans and folks seeking abortion care in Montana. We offer financial, practical (covering the costs of travel, lodging, food, and/or childcare), and emotional support to our clients. About Montana Abortion Access Program
MAAP protects and fosters reproductive autonomy by providing access to abortion care through financial, logistical, and emotional support. We are a Montana-based non-profit.
Montana Abortion Access Program's Community
Better access to reproductive health care is greatly needed across Montana. An abortion in our state can cost as much as $1,000, not including the costs of travel, childcare and lost wages. Without financial support, many people cannot gain access to basic reproductive services--and without access, we are left with no choice at all. At MAAP, we prioritize Montanans and Montana health centers, but our aim is never to turn away someone in need. That's why we do our best to help people from other states if funding is available, and we'll also help Montanans who must travel to neighboring states if the abortion procedure needed is unavailable in Montana.
