If you are accessing abortion in Louisiana, or are a Louisianan seeking abortion care outside of the state, the Louisiana Abortion Fund may be able to help you pay for your abortion and other costs that may make it difficult to access (like gas money or a hotel stay).
To get help from the fund, follow these steps:
Make an appointment with your nearest (or preferred) clinic. The three abortion providers in Louisiana are: Women’s Health Care Center in New Orleans, Delta Clinic in Baton Rouge, and Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport.
Call the Louisiana Abortion Fund at 844-44ABORT (844-442-2678) and leave a message with your name, phone number and whether the LAAF phone counselor can leave a message. Someone will call you back within 24 hours.

About Louisiana Abortion Fund
In 2012, a group of local organizers and activists who believe that access to abortion care should not depend on your income or resources founded the Louisiana Abortion Fund, formerly known as the New Orleans Abortion Fund. Their mission is to help low-income people seeking abortions in Louisiana and the Gulf South by providing empowering assistance and resources.
Louisiana Abortion Fund's Community
Since forming in the fall of 2012, volunteers and staff with the Louisiana Abortion Fund have held garage sales, thrown block parties, held fashion shows and taco-eating contests and comedy showcases, and participated in the National Abortion Access Bowl-a-Thon to raise money to fund abortion and build power in Louisiana and the Gulf South. LAAF works in coalition with reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations across the state and across the country to organize in opposition to abortion bans, advance economic justice, and defend abortion access.
