About North Dakota Women in Need Abortion Access Fund

The ND Women In Need Abortion Access Fund was established in 1999 to serve people in North Dakota who could not afford to pay for an abortion. Restrictions on abortion access unfairly burden people in desperate need: poor people, young people, rural people and people of color. We strive to break down these barriers by providing financial assistance and engaging in advocacy work.

North Dakota Women in Need Abortion Access Fund's Community

North Dakota does not have an abortion clinic. People must travel vast distances to get an abortion, and those travel expenses are high. Last year, the ND Women In Need Abortion Access Fund helped more than 400 people who otherwise would not have been able to afford an abortion or related reproductive health services.
