Abortion Care for Tennessee does not fund patients directly at this time. We make funds available to select clinics through block grants each quarter. Make an appointment at a clinic for your abortion before searching for funding. Once you have an appointment at a clinic for an abortion, notify the clinic that you need financial assistance. Oftentimes, clinics have multiple options for providing assistance and we are just one of those options. It is likely that the entire cost of your procedure cannot be funded so be prepared to share how much you can cover on your own. Always check your insurance to see if abortion is a covered benefit and if so, ask for an in-network clinic. Visit abortioncaretn.org/resources to learn more about resources available to those seeking abortions.

Our fund is a warmline, meaning callers leave a voice message and our team of volunteers returns your call within 24-48 hours. This will show as a call coming from a blocked or restricted phone number.
To be considered for funding, callers will need to have an appointment scheduled at a clinic. There are no financial or gestational requirements to qualify for funding. We distribute funds to all callers with scheduled appointments until our monthly budget is maxed out.
Our organization also offers practical support for callers. Every caller can ask for this assistance, even if they are not receiving a pledge. This can look like meal and gas support, support with childcare expenses, transportation arrangements, lodging, and coverage of the Rhogam vaccine.
We do not accept funding requests via email, but questions and inquiries for additional resources are welcome at helpline@abortionfundofaz.org.
Services are available in English and Spanish.

**Update**
From Friday, July 8th, through Monday July 25th, both our online form and warmline will be paused and not accepting new intakes. This temporary pause is due to an overwhelming backlog of current patient needs. AFO will continue providing funding through our clinic partners and Preterm’s call center—both to cover the cost of abortion and practical support needs.
If you need assistance getting practical support, please contact Preterm’s designated referral line at 216-472-3221 once you have scheduled an appointment. Preterm’s call center will begin taking calls on our behalf on Monday, July 11th. If you call & receive a voicemail, please leave a message & a callback number (one that it would be okay to say ‘Preterm’ to if we get your voicemail!).
Abortion Fund of Ohio works with most clinics in Ohio. They do not provide assistance directly to individuals, but rather provide grants to clinics that, in turn, assist patients in need of financial assistance.

Who We Can Help
We provide direct funding to folks who either reside in New England or are going to a clinic located in New England (which we define as Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont). If you live in a state/region that has an abortion fund, you should reach out to them first – they will be the best equipped to help you.
How to Get Help
Se habla español. Visite nuestra pagina web para instrucciones.
-
Step One: Make an appointment for your procedure. For local callers, here is a list of area clinics which can help you. This list does not include any pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, which often try to convince you to choose other alternatives and may not present your options fully or accurately.
-
Step Two: Your clinic will help you find out how far along your pregnancy is. They will ask you the first day of your last menstrual period and may ask you to come in for a pregnancy test before scheduling your procedure.
-
Step Three: For financial help, you can call or text our warmline at 413-582-3632. Please share your name, phone number, state you’re calling from, and appointment information. All calls and texts are confidential, and we will return your message within 24 hours.
If you are under the age of 16 and seeking abortion care in Massachusetts, you will need parental permission or a judicial bypass (permission from a judge). Your clinic can help you decide what’s best for your situation and will provide more information.
We will work with you regardless of your citizenship or immigration status.
We are here to help you. We know that if someone can’t afford an abortion, then it isn’t available.

Eligibility for grants
ASN does not ask their clients how they got pregnant or why they want abortions. Their only criteria are financial need and available funding.
Grants are given on a case-by-case basis. ASN also asks that clients arrange things in the most inexpensive way possible, so that our money can help the largest number of people.
They also provide funding and logistical support on a case-by-case basis to people resident in other parts of Europe and provide information as is possible to those who contact us from around the globe.
Accommodation
ASN and two of our Abortion Without Borders partner organisations have volunteer hosts near clinics in Engalnd, The Netherlands and Germany. Pre-Covid, accommodation could be arranged in volunteer homes, as well as transportation between accommodation and clinics, clinics and airports, etc where necessary. Currently, the majority of people travelling are put in paid accommodation, and we can support these costs when required.
Clients should contact ASN as soon as possible after deciding to terminate
ASN requests that you get in touch with them before you book any travel, so they can help you arrange the least expensive procedure and travel arrangements possible.

ACCESS provides free, confidential and nonjudgmental information, referrals, peer counseling and advocacy on the full range of reproductive healthcare, with a special expertise in pregnancy options and abortion services. Our Practical Support Network ensures that pregnant people in California can obtain safe abortion services without isolation or delay. When a person cannot rely on their personal resources to get to a clinic, our network of 300 volunteers can provide rides, overnight housing, child-care, translation or other assistance. In some circumstances, our Justice in Action Fund can help contribute to the cost of abortion and also support with costs of travel, lodging, childcare and other logistical barriers to accessing your procedure.
Our services are open to all people living in California, traveling to California, or traveling from California out of state. During COVID, ACCESS has expanded our support to include Nevada residents staying within Nevada for their care. We have limited procedural funding for Nevada residents and cannot at this time provide practical support for Nevada patients, but please call us if you’re in Nevada and in need of procedural funding. Your age, income, insurance or immigration status does not matter.
Call 1-800-376-4636 (English Healthline) or 1-888-442-2237 (Spanish Healthline) or e-mail info@accessrj.org if you need help. You may contact ACCESS even if you have not made an appointment yet. We can help you find a provider and talk through what your options are.
OTHER SERVICES: We connect pregnant people with free and low-cost programs that pay for reproductive health care in California, such as FamilyPACT, Media-Cal or MCAP. We also refer to organizations that can help with other issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, drug addiction, homelessness, and child care. We work with clinics and volunteer translators to provide services in other languages.

As of June 24, 2022, abortion is illegal in the state of Arkansas. We can help you go out of state to obtain care at a clinic where abortion is still legal.
Start by finding a clinic at
ineedana.com. When you make your appointment, let the clinic know that you need financial assistance. Some clinics will screen you for funding from the National Abortion Hotline (NAH) and some will refer you to call NAH yourself. Either way, the first step is to be screened for eligibility for funding from NAH.
- If you are eligible for NAH funding and need additional help paying for your procedure, let them know you need an “AASN exception.” With an AASN exception, we will provide additional funding. If you or the funding screener have any questions about the AASN exception, call our helpline at 501-712-0671.
- If you are not eligible for NAH funding, call our helpline at 501-712-0671.
If you need help with transportation, call our helpline at 501-713-0671. Depending on the type of help you need, we will either provide direct support or refer you to other support organizations.
If you need Plan B, a pregnancy test, or would like to review options and resources in person, come by our new location,
The YOU Center – Your Options, Understood. The YOU Center is open on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. You can call any time at 501-221-6748. You can also text or send a message via Signal at 501-487-5244.

If you are seeking information or funding for abortions, please know that abortions are now considered illegal in Wisconsin. After Roe vs Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in June 2022, an old Wisconsin law from 1849 came into effect. This law now makes it a crime for a provider to perform abortions in our state but not for a resident seeking to have an abortion. Lawsuits may change this situation in the future. As a result of this law activation, no clinics in Wisconsin are performing abortions at this time but may be able to assist you with scheduling one in Minnesota or Illinois, where abortion is still legal. Or, you can reach out to clinics in those states directly.
If you decide to terminate a pregnancy, call a clinic for an appointment as soon as possible. Don’t delay as abortion costs will increase as the pregnancy advances. When scheduling the appointment, inform the staff that you need financial assistance and they will let you know what type of support is available. This could be support for the procedure, travel and overnight expenses, etc.
The Freedom Fund offers grants to many clinics in IL and MN to be used for financial assistance when an appointment is scheduled for residents from central and northern WI. If you schedule an appointment at a clinic that does not directly receive money from our fund but are a resident of our central and northern WI service area, then please reach out to us at 715-384-3360 and leave a message. One of our volunteers will do their best to return your call within 24 hours to assess your situation and answer your questions.

The REACH Fund of Connecticut does not make direct grants to individuals. Instead, we work directly with abortion clinics in CT to provide financial assistance for patients who cannot afford the entire cost of their abortion. REACH is a funding source that clinics can turn to when a patient needs help paying for their abortion. The provider applies REACH funding to the patient’s abortion cost, and then bills REACH directly for the financial assistance.
IF YOU NEED FINANCIAL HELP FOR YOUR ABORTION:
Make an appointment with one of the clinics that has a funding agreement with us:
Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (CT Locations) – 800-230-7526
Hartford GYN Center – 860-525-1900
The provider will work with you to determine if you have insurance coverage for your abortion. If you are eligible for CT Medicaid (HUSKY), the provider will help you enroll. They will then tell you the amount that you are responsible for.
If you cannot afford the whole out-of-pocket cost of the abortion, the provider can apply REACH funds (subject to availability) to lower that cost.
The provider will bill REACH directly for our share of your abortion.

People seeking aid in Nevada should first fill out our intake form. Our intake managers will respond within 48 hours. Given our very limited capacity, we are unable to process requests for funding for appointments in 24 hours or less.
We will request to schedule a brief phone call when convenient for you. After going over your application, we will let you know any financial assistance we can offer – please note, we typically notify you of any funding in the same week of your appointment, so it may be a few days wait if you fill out this form a week or more before your appointment.
We are a small non-profit with limited funds, and the grants we offer will not typically cover the full cost of an abortion. We prioritize those further along in pregnancy whose costs are greater and who may be approaching the state limit for an appointment.

Instructions:
If you are seeking information on abortion, be advised that as of June 24, 2022, providing abortion is now considered illegal in Wisconsin because of a law still in place from 1849. Lawsuits may change the situation in the future. The current law criminalizes the provider of abortion services but has protections from criminalizing the pregnant person seeking abortion. Clinical abortion services in Wisconsin are on hold because of this.
All clinics in Wisconsin are not currently scheduling appointments for or performing abortions. You can contact clinics in the more abortion-supportive neighboring states of Minnesota or Illinois, where abortion is still legal and available.
If you have decided to terminate a pregnancy and cannot afford to pay the full cost of a safe, legal abortion, call a clinic and make an appointment. Let them know that you need financial assistance. Don’t delay. Abortion costs go up very quickly after the first trimester. Ask the clinic you are using if they have access to financial resources that may help you.
WMF is partnering with organizations to ensure Wisconsin residents needing abortions have access to information, support, and financial assistance. With the support of generous donors, WMF continues to pay the costs of abortion care and practical support for those obtaining services.
