Abortion Care Network (ACN)

The Abortion Care Network (ACN) is the national association for independent community-based abortion care providers and their allies.

Today, independent abortion care providers (Indies) provide care to two of every three people in the U.S. who have an abortion. The sustainability and well-being of “Indies” are essential to ensuring meaningful access to abortion care in this country. 

The National Network of Abortion Funds (NNAF) is an allied partner organization to ACN. NNAF participates in Abortion Provider Appreciation Day, an annual event coordinated by ACN that celebrates abortion care providers through love notes, art, acts of kindness and support, messages of affirmation, and more. NNAF member funds organize local events and activities to care for providers in their communities. 

Local abortion funds also work closely with clinics in their communities to reduce barriers to abortion access.
